Crohn’s and Colitis UK – Crohn’s and Colitis UK aims to improve life for everyone affected by IBD. They raise awareness, provide information and support, fund crucial research, and campaign and speak up for change. www.crohnsandcolitis.org.uk

 Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation‘s mission is to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. The Foundation offers helpful educational resources to help patients cope with these diseases and better manage their health. ForCrohns‘s mission is to fund research that helps those with the condition today and contributes to finding a cure for Crohn’s disease in the future, whilst making more people in the UK aware of the disease and its symptoms.  http://forcrohns.org

Crohn’s in Childhood Research Association – CICRA raises funds to support approved medical and scientific research aimed at finding more effective treatments and an eventual cure. CICRA also provides support for affected children and their families, in the form of booklets and newsletters, which are freely available to sufferers. www.cicra.org

Colostomy Association – They offer support, reassurance and practical information to anyone who may be about to have, or already has a colostomy. www.colostomyassociation.org.uk

IA – Ileostomy and Internal Pouch Support Group is a national charity supporting people living with an ileostomy or an internal pouch; their families, friends and carers. As a national charity IA has a local presence throughout the UK & Ireland whose volunteers are themselves living with an ileostomy or an internal pouch. www.iasupport.org

Camp Simcha – Camp Simcha exists to improve the quality of life of children suffering from Cancer or other life threatening illnesses. Their support extends to children from 0 – 18 years of age, with any form of cancer or any other condition that represents a threat to life. Recently they have extended their services to include cases of severe inflammatory bowel conditions. www.campsimcha.org.uk

Chana supports couples in the Jewish community who may feel isolated and need medical information and support to help them deal with the challenge of infertility.  www.chana.org.uk

Guts4Life – Guts4Life provides information and support for people with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Browse the site to find information about bowel problems, different types of IBD, or tips on how to live with IBD. http://www.guts4life.com

CCFI – The Israel Foundation for Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis  is the only organisation in Israel that provides continuous support and comprehensive services to IBD patients and their families. If you are travelling to Israel and have any IBD issues whilst you are there, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Israel can help.  Their hotline is available Sun – Thurs from 7pm – 10 pm.  Telephone: 00972-3-7441391. Most of their volunteers speak English. Their website is www.ccfi.co.il.
